The family relocated to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, when he was young, and it was there that he started his acting journey as a member of the high school drama club at Lake Havasu High School.

Biehn's acting career began with a bit part in the film version of "Grease" in 1978. However, he is best known for his roles in science fiction films directed by James Cameron, such as Kyle Reese in "The Terminator" (1984), Cpl. Dwayne Hicks in "Aliens" (1986), and Lt.
