Michael Connell Biehn, an American actor who was born on July 31, 1956, in Anniston, Alabama, United States. His father, Don Biehn, was a lawyer, and he was the second of three boys. Biehn has a diverse heritage, with German and English descent on his father's side and Irish, Scottish, German, and English descent on his mother's side. The family relocated to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, when he was young, and it was there that he started his acting journey as a member of the high school drama club at Lake Havasu High School.

Biehn's acting career began with a bit part in the film version of "Grease" in 1978. However, he is best known for his roles in science fiction films directed by James Cameron, such as Kyle Reese in "The Terminator" (1984), Cpl. Dwayne Hicks in "Aliens" (1986), and Lt. Coffey in "The Abyss" (1989). In addition to these films, he has also made his mark in films like "The Fan" (1981), "Tombstone" (1993), and "The Rock" (1996). His television appearances include "Hill Street Blues" (1984), "The Magnificent Seven" (1998–2000), and "Adventure Inc." (2002–2003). Biehn's performance in "Aliens" earned him a Best Actor Saturn Award nomination.
