About	Joyce Ann Kyes Age 86, of Bay City, Michigan and former resident of Lakeland, Florida, died at her daughter’s home under the loving care of her family and hospice. She was born the daughter of Clair and Elna (Burnett) Smith on November 9, 1936, in Owosso, Michigan. Joyce married her best friend Robert Kyes on September 10, 1955, and together they shared 57 years and raised three children all of whom survive her; Robert (Leslie) Kyes, Melanie Kyes-Whitford and Ronald Kyes. Also surviving are her sister in - law, Joan Smith, and her grandchildren; Nicole Davis, Michael Kyes and Robert Kyes, great-grandchildren; Esmeralda Kyes, Elliezabeth Kyes, Brook Church, and Travis Lee; her nephew, David Smith; and niece, Dawn Smith. In her free time Joyce enjoyed painting, sewing, and selling cosmetics. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband and her grandson Travis Lee Church. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Faith Church of the Nazarene in Bay City, Michigan with Pastor Dwight Kingsberry officiating.
