The US navy taught me to climb poles. After discharge I worked powerline construction in Idaho (Stanley), Colorado (Silverton and Teluride) Nevada, Wyoming, Utah and California. Worked for a Power Co-operative in Colorado Utah for a few years as an outpost Foreman. Then went back overseas. Taught Powerline design and construction in El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Cost Rica, Bolivia, Uruguay, Columbia, Dominican Republic and the Bahamas. Had a daughter now age 15 but when she was 5 it was time to return to the states for her schooling. My Wife Karrin and I purchased a printing company ... then another. We live in Raleigh NC now. In the last year I have started volunteering as a powerline instructor in Sudan Africa on a project electrifying the town of Yei. I returned from my last trip November 4th 2006 and am trying to get back into working at the print shop again.
