About	Les Thurman of Corvallis passed away March 3. He passed peacefully in his home. Les was born in San Jose, California, to Ray and Lillie Thurman. Before Les was a year old his family moved to Oregon, settling in Klamath Falls, where he grew up and graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1965. Upon graduation, he moved to Corvallis to attend Oregon State University. On Dec. 31, 1966, Les married his high school sweetheart, Sherry Smith. Les is survived by his wife, Sherry, and their sons, Troy and Travis.
