About	In high school, Pam was a member of the Girls’ Athletic Association, the Art Club, Tri-Hi-Y, and she played JV basketball. After graduating from high school, Pam attended Colby College in Waterville, Maine and subsequently moved to Boston, Massachusetts where she went to work for Liberty Mutual Life Insurance Company and then Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, Inc. In 1973, Pam married Robert Cahners, a Boston publishing executive and together they moved to Newton, Massachusetts where they raised their two children, Jared and Kimberly. In 1995 they moved to Naples, Florida where they both became active as volunteers and supporters of community organizations. Pam devoted her life and all her love to her husband, children and sister who were with her when she passed away.
