About	John T. Schimpf, 50, passed away August 18, 2006. A native of Elkins, W.Va., he had been an area resident most of his life. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tim, John is survived by wife, Luann; sons, Troy (Kelly) Brady, John W. Schimpf, and Joe Schimpf; daughter, Jenny Schimpf, all of Akron; three grandchildren; sisters, Betsy Oliver of Smyrna, Tennessee, and Becky Duff of Akron; and brother, Bill Schimpf (Tammy Burns) of Akron. Friends and family will gather from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home 788 Kenmore Blvd. , Akron, Ohio 44314, where a celebration of John's life will follow at 8 p.m., with Fr. Michael Smith officiating. For those who wish, contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
