About	KATE ROWLAND KOLY Kate Koly, age 56, passed away on December 10, 2012 after many years of battling heart disease and cancer. She was born in Akron, graduated the University of Akron. She had an exceptional career as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. Kate touched the lives of many foreign born students. She was a long time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and most recently Guardian Angels in Copley Kate was a loving wife, daughter, mother, step-mother, sister, and aunt. After retiring from the Akron Public Schools she never lost her zest for learning, spirit of adventure and enthusiasm for living. She was preceded in death by parents, Gene and Rosemary Rowland; and brother-in-law, Terry Koly. Survivors include husband, Ron; daughter, Marie; step-daughters, Vanessa (Mark) Wadlington, Danielle (Daniel) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Kaeden Wadlington, Isabella Rodriguez; brothers, Vince Rowland, Joe (Amber) Rowland, and sister, Mary (Mike) Zubovic.
