About Event

I hope this is Pam Christensen Justesen, KHS Class of 1969…

Update to KHS 55th Class of 69 reunion:

We still need classmates to sign up if you are coming ASAP and no later than Aug. 1st with your names and the year you graduated if you did not graduate in 1969. If you are bringing a partner, we would like the name of the partner also.
We will be making name tags with high school pictures on them, so the sooner we get your names, the better, so we are not rushed trying to make a large number of name tags at the last minute.
The picnic and gathering at Oquirrh Park located behind the Kearns Oval is on Aug. 24th from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. You will need to bring your own food for lunch and dinner and your own drinks. No alcohol. We will be supplying the tablecloths, napkins, paper plates, utensils, cups and cookies for dessert.
We are getting quite a few donations for our silent auction, they are:
1. Barry Martak: A signed black and white photo plus a signed color photo. If you are following Barry on Facebook you know his photography is phenomenal.
Barry has also contacted a well-knowned artist who works with glass willing to donate a piece.
2. Rick Lee and Janet Bigler Lee: Jewelry they make and signed book(s) Rick has written.
3. Debbie Ihler Rasmussen: Signed boxed books (if available) or books she has written.
4. Bob Cantonwine: Two of his 'Things You See Old Dog, New Tricks' CD's with a synopsis of the Avocado Song sung on the CD.
5. Ed Blake and Linda Mattson Blake: Two Amazon Fires; Two Amazon Fire Sticks and a gift basket. Also, a friend of theirs is donating a set of stoneware.
6. Carl Filby: A surprise donation.
7. Cory Haight's Sister: Two of Cory' s paintings
8. Karen Marie Winn Spor-A Veterans quilt.
The donations will need to be made with cash, check or via paypal. We prefer cash or check. The paypal account has not yet been set up, but will be set up before the reunion.
All donations will be sent to the Hunstman-Intermountain Cancer Center since we have all been touched by cancer in some way or another.
Carl Filby is putting together a playlist so we can play music in the background as we mingle with our old classmates.
The committee hopes to see as many classmates as possible there. We think this will be a fun time for all to be able to mingle without a program and get to know what is happening with all our old classmates who are attending. Many friendships have been formed with prior reunions.
I will be closing the KHS class of 1969 MACU account after this reunion.
Many of us, including me, hope to see you there.
