About	James or Jimmie as I knew him were friends during high school. We were members of the high school football team. After graduation he went to West Point Military Academy. He was later married. He died suddenly from a heart attack at a very early age of 39. He is missed. We had good times together. I persuaded my mother to give one of my brothers his first name.

I knew him as Jimmy. We attended school together before Jordan High. Jimmy and I were on the football team at Daniel Junior High and later at Arnold Junior High when we went 10 and 0 that year. He and I were friends for a long period. We were both on the football team at Jordan High and we graduated together in 1969. Jimmy was always a great friend. We spent many times together. My mother gave birth to a second brother of mine in 1966. I suggested to my parent that he be named for Jimmy and my other good friend, Donald Bruce Worsham. My brother was names James Bruce.
