Robert J. Wright

Class of 1971

Mr. Wright is a graduate of Shaw High School and La Jolla University in San Diego, Ca. In 1977 Mr. Wright began his law enforcement career as a U.S. Border Patrol Agent serving on the SW Border for a number of years. In 1986 Mr. Wright transferred to the U.S. Customs Service as a Special Agent Criminal Investigator. His primary expertise is in the area of narcotics smuggling and money laundering. After the events of 9/11/2001, Mr. Wright was assigned to the FBI North Florida Joint Terrorism Task Force in Jacksonville, Fl. In 2007, Mr. Wright retired from federal law enforcement with 30 years of service.

In 2008, Mr. Wright served as a counter-terrorism expert for almost 2 years in Iraq. Currently, Mr. Wright is a counter-narcotics advisor serving in Afghanistan.

Mr. Wright is married and resides in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl.
