About	Graduated first year Jac opened. 1967 senior class. Mr. Terry Taylor, age 67, of Wallins, KY, entered his Heavenly Home on Monday, September 5, 2016. Born October 14, 1948 to the late George and Jeannie Taylor, Mr. Taylor was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp having served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was a Kentucky Colonel, an ordained Minister for 20 years, a retired coal miner and police officer and a member of the VFW American Legion. As well as his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers; Gary “Mike” Taylor, Troy Taylor, Jerry Taylor and Robert Taylor. Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 48 years, Shirley Taylor, children; Terry Taylor Jr, Samantha (Adam) Blondell, Brenda Taylor and Melissa Taylor brothers; Sonny Taylor and Johnny “Butch” Taylor, grandchildren; Meagan Bryant, Tayler Bryant, Jon Blondell, Justin Blondell and one great grandchild; Ava Elise Smith. Visitation for Mr. Terry Taylor will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 6 PM until 9 PM and again on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 2 PM until 4 PM with the funeral following at 4:30 PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Brock officiating. Interment will follow at the Garrett/ Ball Family Cemetery at Sawbriar with friends and family serving as pallbearers, all are welcome to attend. Military Honors will be conducted by the Harlan County Honor Guard. Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Terry Taylor.
