Nick Shamhart recently published the first of a series of novels. "Grey" is book one and is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Sony, and IBookstore. It is only on eBook format because he turned down representation and publication at the last minute. The cost to the reader, for him, on a publishing house backed novel was too much, and it was becoming quickly apparent that the publishers were only interested in profit; not story telling.

He wanted to tell an engaging, well crafted story without the concerns of wooing demographics and target audiences. He also wanted the autonomy to create his own cover art and work at his pace.
