Favorite School Memory	Playing in the Band for 6 yrs and all the parades we attended with Mr. Ritter. Football 4 yrs, playing some hard fought games, as football was just getting started in Hughesville after a 20 year layoff, we got beat a lot but never gave up. About Me	A lot has happened since 1960: After graduating from WACC, I went to GE Avonics Controll and was the lead engineering aid on the Boeing 747 flight controll sys. Worked on jets that flew in NAM. F14 & F15. Worked in Wellsboro,Pa. next redesigning typesetters for newspapers. Next went to S,F, Ca. and was a field eng. installing these typesetters made by Mergenthaler Linotype. Became Western Reg. Ser. Mgr.. Left there and my final job was Technical Services Mgr for The Press Democrat Newspaper, a NYT Newspaper. I headed all elerical, electronic and mechanical projects. I retired after 32 years of newspaper experience. After my 3rd year under the NYT, I was among 5 production mgrs. the went to Las Vegas to pick up a 1st place award in North America for color reproduction in larg...(read more)
