Michael "Duke" Williams, born on October 15, 1990, in @Tallulah, Louisiana, is a distinguished alumnus of Hug High School in Reno, Nevada. Williams was a versatile sportsman during his high school years, earning 12 varsity letters in football, basketball, and track and field. He dazzled as a quarterback and defensive back on the football field and the Northern Nevada Player of the Year accolade was an affirmation of his grit and talent.

Williams' athletic prowess extended to track & field events, where he made a name for himself as a proficient jumper and sprinter. Notably, he clinched the 100 meters at the 2009 Northwest Invite and won the triple jump in the same year at the Fallon Elks Invitational. These achievements placed Duke among the top 10 nationally. He was also part of the 4 × 100-meter relay team that set a new Nevada state record.
