Matthew Rozell was awarded a Museum Teacher
Fellowship at the United States Holocaust Memorial
Museum for his work in Holocaust education and in
reuniting American soldiers with a train transport of
Holocaust survivors who they liberated. Mr. Rozell was
also named the 2009 New York State Daughters of the
American Revolution Outstanding Teacher of American
History for teaching about our region’s important role in
the Colonial Wars and American Revolution.
