About	Patricia Downie Guy, 83, Houlton, passed away Sunday July 5, 2015 at a local healthcare facility. She was born December 29, 1931, in Houlton, the daughter of Leo and Virginia (Monahan) Downie. Patricia grew up in Houlton. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s School in 1945 as valedictorian and from Houlton High School in 1949. She married Wendell Guy on November 10, 1951 and together they would raise their family and share sixty four years together. Patricia was a talented vocalist and sang at numerous weddings and funerals. Patricia worked as an Ed. Tech for twenty eight years for S.A.D. 70 in Hodgdon. She enjoyed old movies, bowling, and golf. She thoroughly enjoyed shopping and would spend much time going up and down the aisles looking at everything. The times she enjoyed and loved the most were when she was with her family. She will always be remembered as being loving, compassionate, and steadfast. Pat leaves behind her loving husband Wendell of Houlton; a daughter Wendy Lynds and her husband Jerre of Littleton; two sons Tim Guy of Houlton, David Guy and his wife Jane of Hodgdon; ten grandchildren Michele, Andy, Brandi, Jeff, Jen, Ashley, Aimee, Nick, Jordan, Tabor; twelve great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by four siblings, Nina Capuano and her husband Tony of Orange, CT, Mary Alward of South Portland, Ronald Downie and his wife Virginia of Ruther Glen, VA, Melody Downie of Southington, CT as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son Dennis Michael Guy, a brother Terry Wayne Downie and a sister Gail Ellen Downie.
