About	Basil David McKinney, 79 of Bedford, NH died Tuesday July 16, 2013 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. Born January 24, 1934 in Holton, Maine he was the son of the late Charles and Louise (Grant) McKinney. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Shirley Ann (Kantargis) McKinney. Basil graduated from Holton High School in Maine. He was employed with the former F.W. Woolworth for forty years and retired as a manager. Basil enjoyed cooking, playing cards, gardening and collecting teddy bears. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, David McKinney, of Cambridge, MA; two daughters and one son-in-law, Heather Veitch and her husband Don, of Hillsboro, NH and Kelly Vadnais, also of Hillsboro, NH; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Gene McKinney and his wife Judy, of New Jersey and Paul McKinney and his wife Donna, of Goffstown, NH; one sister, Diane Brogan and her husband Steve, of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren, Melissa, Charles, Kenneth, Kyle and Grace, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members. SERVICES: There are no visiting hours or funeral service, private arrangements have been made.
