About	Millard G. Merritt, 71, went with our beloved Lord Jan. 22, 2011. He was born June 25, 1939, in Amity, son of Earl and Ruth (Welton) Merritt. Millard enjoyed being with friends and family, and the great outdoors. He was employed at A.E. Staley Manufacturing Co. for 37 years until his retirement in 2001. He also worked at Shiretown Inn & Suites for several years. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Ann (Reed) Merritt; his children, Wendy (Merritt) Spellman, Ryan and his girlfriend, Melissa, and Travis and his girlfriend, Bridgette; nine grandchildren, Cynthia, Brandon, Kerri, Bridget, Emma, Ethan, Gabriel, Noah and Brodie; brothers, Robert and Donna of New Hampshire, Roger and Barbara of Hodgdon, Doug and Jean of Houlton and Tom and Sandra of Baileyville; sisters, Judy McCordic and Jim of Ludow, Marylyn and Duane Cole of Florida, Marion Bisson and Norman of Millinocket, Joan McCordic and Butch of Hodgdon and Connie Merritt McAfee of Houlton; two aunts, Eleanor Estabrook and Wilma Welton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Carey; and one brother, Richard. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to Lafayette Family Cancer Center,or the Salvation Army.,
