About	Mrs. Coffin, 102, died at a local health care facility. She was born Sept. 21, 1910, in Springvale, daughter of the Rev. Henry and Bertha (Grant) Huse. She graduated from North Haven High School and then went on to get her bachelor's degree from Brown University - Pembroke in 1933. After moving to Houlton in 1950, she taught English and Latin at Houlton High School from the late 1950s to 1973. Since her retirement Marjorie was a very active lifelong member of Houlton Congregational Church and was a member of Order of the Eastern Star. She proudly served as a trustee of Nasson College, Springvale, for about a year. She is survived by her son, James Coffin of Hudson, Mass.; three grandchildren, Christopher, Nathaniel and Jennifer; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Rodney "John" Coffin; her son, Maj. John F. Coffin; and her brother, Herbert Huse.
