About	August 23, 1964 - April 25, 2020 The Life of John Emery Barton Began on this Earth on August 23rd 1964 to John E Barton and Ola Barton at Methodist Hospital in Gary, Indiana. John was a Happy Child. He Loved his Father, Mother, Older Sister Tamie Shoemaker, and Baby Brother Dale. Jon Jon as he was Affectionately Called attended Chase and Ambridge Grade Schools. In Middle School (Tolleston) John was an accomplished Trumpet Player in the Tolleston Band, He Later attended Horace Mann High school (Class of 82) and attended Job Core where he gained his G.E.D and also became a Certified Welder. He later moved to Minnesota where he excelled in his skill. He leaves to Cherish his memory his Parents John Ezekiel Barton, Ola Barton, Son Timothy (Betty Bailey) Barton, Siblings Tamie (Elton Triggs) Shoemaker, Dale A. (Quintella Logan) Barton, John Martin Barton, Michael E. Weightman, Kijai Desiree, and Craig Barton. Services will be held Friday, May 8, 2020 at Manuel Memorial "Parlor of Peace" Funeral Home 421 W. 5th Avenue Gary, IN. Viewing 11:00AM-2:00PM with funeral immediately following at 2:00PM.
