John Edmund Taylor
Class of 1917
"Zach" Taylor, noble cheer leader. For two years Zach led the cheering for H.H.S. He distinguished himself as a baseball player by pitching the team to a victory over Springfield High School in 1916. The next year he was elected to the captaincy of the baseball team. Besides being a captain, he was manager of 1917's track team.
