Service description I enlisted in the Air Force in 84 as an Aircrew Egress Systems Technician (Ejection systems)and my first duty assignment was Clark Air Base in the Philippines. I met my wife Cathleen there. She was a dependent daughter of a US Embassy communications specialist. I was reassigned to Kelly AFB TX (San Antonio) in 87, deployed to Operation DESERT SHIELD/STORM while there. My next assignment was to Sheppard AFB TX from 92-96 as instructor for my career field(couldn't seem to get out of Texas) In 96 I was reassigned to Aviano AB Italy. We loved it there and did two tours of duty. We were there until Dec 2003. We then transfered to Langley AFB VA near Norfolk. I retired on June 1 2005 |

THEN TWO CRUISES TO VIETNAM DURING OPERATION ROLLING THUNDER, TF77 (USS WAINWRIGHT). CAME HOME TO RAISE A FAMILY. |
