I am sorry to inform you that I will not be able to attend our 60th class reunion. Due to some ongoing family medical issues as well as the pandemic, my wife and I are limiting our travel to a minimum.

I have been living in Portland, Oregon since 1976 and I have been retired for 10 years. I spend time hiking, golfing and doing yard maintenance. My wife is a teacher and loves her work, with no plans to retire any time soon.

I hope you have a great reunion and wish we were able to attend. Best wishes and good health to all from the class of ‘62 and your families.

I've been persuaded to have my computer at the reunion in order to host a zoom session for those who wish to interact with we attendees but who themselves are unable to attend. I'll be sending out email invitations with a link to the zoom session (probably on Monday, the 22nd) to those for whom I have email addresses. We – your reunion committee - are pleased to know you will be among the 30-35 folks expected at our 60th reunion, August 27 and 28. It has been determined that expenses incurred for the catered dinner and tent rental would be covered by a $25. per head contribution – to be collected upon arrival. The meal will include appetizers, fresh vegetables from Nancy’s farm; pulled pork, baked chicken, salt potatoes, coleslaw and fruit cobbler for dessert. Dress will be casual. Bathroom facilites are available. If anyone requires lodging you might contact the Budget Inn in Barneveld (315-896-2613) or the Lodge at Head Waters in Boonville (315-942-2027).
