The Alumni Wall of Fame
Yuan Li , class of 2008

He came to USA 2 month into his junior year and he made it to Cornell. He stayed up until 2 A.M. in the morning every night for catching up the class that he had missed and for studying the English language and on top of all that work, he had to study for Tofu. He worked 5 times harder than a normal person. He memorized 100 new vocabulary words each day. He went in for extra help everyday after school. He participated in JETS and numerous of other events. Even though he was extremely busy, but he still had the time to volunteer at a senior home. He has a very big heart. It was hard for him to learn the language itself, but he managed and did tons extra. He deserves to be #1. If he had come to the USA in his freshman year, then he would have gotten into Harvard. He is a true hero, a true challenger and a great friend.
