I am a flight attendant for USAIRWAYS. I have been flying for 22yrs. I was original PSA. I am now based in Charlotte,NC. I remember that day so clearly. Nick lived on our bolck. We lived at 34 Poinsettia Ave. He was the tallest boy in kindergarten and I was the tallest girl. I hated that. I wished I was not that tall. He never paid attention to me. He was a basketball star!! When he died I felt so awful. I had just started my flying career. Now USAIRWAYS coporate headquarters is based in PHX. He would have been a part of the Phoenix Suns Alumni. He would have done great things for the city. I hope the family has closure. That fateful day on that Northwest flt. The industry has changed.Procedures have changed.The industry has changed because of the accident. I just would like the Vanos family to know this. My heartfelt sympathy always, Claire Maxwell
