About	Everton - Terry Michael Smith, 56, Everton, Mo., died at 9:12 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 1999, I his home. He was born April 12, 1943, in Springfield, Mo., the son of Forrest and Mary Morissey Smith. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a retired police patrolman for the Springfield Police Department for over 27 years. He was a member of St. Agnes Cathedral in Springfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Forrest Smith. He is survived by his wife, Cherlyn, of the home; two sons, Jody Smith, Everton, Mo., and Toby and his wife, Melissa Smith, Halltown, Mo.,; three grandchildren, Cody, Bryan and Jacob; his mother, Mary Smith, Springfield,; three brothers, David and his wife, Carolyn Smith, Steve Smith, and Danny Smith; a niece, Melanie Newman; a grand niece, Courtney Newman, all of Springfield; and several other nieces, nephews, and friends. He was a loving friend, father, grandfather, and companion. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jun 12, 1999 in St. Agnes Cathedral with Msgr. Thomas Reidy officiating under direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery with full police honors by the Springfield Police Department.
