About	William Larry (Bill) Carter born September 14, 1942 in Springfield Mo., passed away Saturday June 27 2009. Graduate of Hillcrest High School and Springfield Business College in Accounting. Served in the US Army teaching photography to MP's at Fort Gordon Ga., worked at Millers Photo, Consumers Hardware and Fin and Feather Sportings Goods for many years. He was preceeded in death by father Gene and mother Mary. He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law Robert and Deborah Carter of Springfield; two sisters, Ann of Republic and Suzy of Lincoln, Neb.; aunts Harriett McCall and Dorothy Hayes of Willard, and Aunt Velma Brown Bolivar, Mo.; as well as, many many cousins; and other family and many friends. Visitation will be Thursday at Calvery Chapel, 116 W. Grant Republic, Mo., from 4 to 6 pm. No funeral services are planned. {Spfd News Leader dated July 1, 2009 ]
