About	Subjects taught: Drivers Ed; Safety Council Lowell Wade, 66, of 2667 North Fremont, died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cox Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. Wade, a resident of Springfield since 1951, was a retired state highway patrol sergeant. After his retirement he taught at Glendale and Hillcrest high schools. He also worked in the security department at Evangel College for three years. He was a member of Asbury Methodist Church. Mr. Wade is survived by his wife, Christine; two sons, David, of Kansas City, and Charles of Minneapolis, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Sue Mooneyham, 1250 South Cedarbrook, and Mrs. Kathy Russell, 2044 South Weller; three brothers, James O., of Mountain Grove, Maurice, of Kirksville and Clell, of Quincy, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Osborn, Tulsa, Okla.; and six grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Greenlawn Funeral Home with the Rev. D. W. Wartenbee and Dr. Herbert Hillme officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
