About	Alexis Gardner, 32, of Springfield, Mo., passed on to be with the Lord on May 13, 2008, in Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Alexis was born on August 13, 1976, in Springfield, Mo., to Leonard and Revedell Gardner. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1994. Alexis was a member of New Hope International Ministries and had a special love for the Lord. He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother. He leaves to mourn, his father, Leonard A. Gardner Sr.; four brothers and seven sisters, Leonard Jr., Leonardo and his wife, Sue, Everett and his wife, Lisa, Steve and his wife, Andrea, Deborah Jamerson and her husband, Pastor Lamarr Sr., Lynette Adams and her husband, Garland, Della Gardner, Renee Harris and her husband, Calvin Jr., all of Springfield, Mo., Sherran Riley of East St. Louis, Ill., LaRonda Harris and her husband, Will of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. and Lisa Horton of Atlanta, Ga.; his special friend Karen Savard; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008, in Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home, 1635 N. Benton, Springfield, with the Rev. Lamarr Jamerson Sr. officiating. A visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m., prior to the service. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.klingner-cope.com.
