Correction on date of HHS class of 66 casino and tx holdem tournament is 2014, upcoming two weeks. 17 October 2014- 6 to 11 PM at VHW 2222 Austin Hwy 78218 first 40 registered for tournament will compete.
Class of '66 -- Casino Night
Friday, Oct 17th, 2013 from 6 'til 10 pm. This fund-raising/social event is open to all! Come join us at 2222 Austin Hwy (VFW Hall) for a night of casino games and fun with friends. Details may be found on our website (www.highlandsowls1966.org) under the "Our 50th Reunion 2016" tab. Proceeds will help defray the costs of our 50th Reunion Events. Hope to see you there! Go Owls!

We will be posting info on our upcoming 50th Reunion (in 2016) and several fund-raising and social events in between. Simple, quick and free process to join. '65 & '67 may join as "guests".

Hoot Fest Homecoming Carnival
Calling ALL Highlands High School Alumni--It's that time again: Homecoming Week!!!
This Thursday November 8, 2012 Highlands High School will be hosting its last Homecoming event before the transition into a new building. Please join our students, faculty, and staff from 4:00p-8:00p in the back courtyard for food, games, and fun! We will also introduce the 1st Annual Highland Games that will star 2 elected tributes from each current class who will compete in a variety of events to bring fame and bragging rights for their graduating class!
Hoot Fest will be followed by our annual night pep rally to charge the crowd before we take on,long-time rivals Brackenridge, under the Friday night lights.

1975 Graduation Ring Stolen
My 1975 Highlands HS grad. ring was stolen from my apartment at The Trails of Marymont, San Antonio off Perrin Beitel Rd. & Loop 410 in 1989 or 1990. It was gold and had the maroon stone on the top and was about a size 3-4. At the time I didn't think of going to any of the pawn shops to look for it.
If anyone might have it or know where I could find it, please let me know.

DVDs of Highlands football
DVDs of Highlands football games are being placed for sale on the Gametapes.com website. The first group of games selected are: 1964 (Brackenridge), 1971 (McCollum), 1973 (Fox Tech), 1984 (Lanier), 1991 (Burbank), January 26, 1993 highlight film, 1996 (Sam Houston), and 1997 (South San).

1989 Fund Raiser
This event has been rescheduled due to Hurricane Ike.
Come support the Class of 1989 fundraiser for their 20 year reunion PLUS money for scholarships.
Local kids will have additional scholarship money!
Come out on Saturday, Sept 27th at Azteca Grocery at 2920 E. Southcross & Goliad Rd.
We'll be there from 11a.m. - 3p.m. Plates include: smoked chicken, sausage, charro beans, rice, potato salad, jalapeno, and bread for $5.00.
