Dear Alumni,
With the cycles we've had with the variants, it is too soon and a high risk to schedule an event within the next 6 months. For everyone's health and safety, we will schedule the event when large gatherings are safe. An outdoor event in a large space would be preferable. Please plan on late summer 2022.

Fellow 1980 Gunn Grads,
There's quite a bit of focus in the press these last few days regarding how to reopen the full economy. Unfortunately all input so far is that large gatherings will be the last type of event that returns to normal. More specifically Gavin Newsom (CA governor), stated: "When you suggest June, July, August, (mass gatherings) are unlikely".
Even if the virus "forecast" is good by May 29 (cancel at no charge deadline), the situation could change and we would have to cancel the event. At our age we just don't think it's worth taking any added risk for a reunion
