Calling All Alumni! HHRS PTO Selected To Receive 2014 AH Mayor's Ball Funds

The annual Atlantic Highlands Mayor's Ball donates its proceeds each year to a not for profit community group - and this year, the HHRS PTO was selected as one of three recipients. This means a significant donation to HHRS - but we need your help to make this event a success! - It's critical at a time when PTO wants to:
1. Recover from funds distributed to Sandy relief,
2. Continue to provide PTO scholarships to seniors
3. Begin to fund larger projects to benefit students and the school community
We are grateful to the Mayor and town for what we expect will be a generous donation to the important work that PTO does. And we are grateful to any and all alumni of our small school community who may be able to contribute as well.
-On our end, we are expected to assist with the collection of donations for gift baskets. We also are helping to sell tickets (and ad book, and horses' for faux 'betting' on races to win Grand Prizes).
- Here are some ways youcan help:
1. Donate a gift basket - Your name will be prominently displayed as the donor, and listed in the Ad Book.
2. Donate any new item - Leave it to us! We will assemble individual items into great baskets!
3. Donate any gift card - VISA, or restaurant, business, chain store, supermarket, etc.
4. Contact any business owner you know to let them know this opportunity exists for them to promote their business to this local and influential audience.
5. Come join us - buy a ticket or two, or reserve a table for 10! Have a fabulous night out, with open bar, gift auction, prizes, dinner/dessert, etc.!
6. Take out an ad in the Ad Book on behalf of HHRS Alumni, and/or let your local businesses know about Ad Book-
7. Buy and name your own Horse Race! - Faux betting on races, to earn Grand Prize tickets. Each race has 10 horses; each horse costs $50 and earns the buyer a Grand Prize raffle ticket - only a small number will be sold, so odds are great! Horses may be purchased individually, or buy all 10 for a race and name the race after yourself/you group! You can name each horse as well!
