Cordially Invites You to Attend Our 50th Class Reunion Celebration!
While perhaps a bit hard to believe, another milestone anniversary has arrived in 2018! Accordingly, your reunion committee has reconvened and is putting the finishing touches on a special day and celebration that we hope will be well attended, heartfelt, and fun!! The event will be held at Brandt’s Picnic Grounds and will be casual. Hot off the press, here are the facts for the upcoming event:
Where: Brandt’s Picnic Grounds
Date: July 28, 2018
Time: 4 PM to 10 PM
Dress: Casual Summer with Light Wrap, Pullover or Jacket for Later in the Evening
Cost: $50 per person
We are hoping that attendees will arrive as close to 4 PM as possible so we can enjoy everyone’s company. Complimentary beer, wine, water, soft drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served. No-host mixed drinks will be available on the basis of 3 drink tickets for $10. At 6 PM, a buffet dinner will be served consisting of BBQ Tri Tip and/or Chicken in addition to an array of side dishes (salads, chili, etc.) and a light dessert. From 7 PM until we close the event at 10 PM, a disc jockey will be on hand to spin our favorite tunes while we dazzle one another on a hardwood dance floor. During breaks, we are planning an informal program with the promise of some fun surprises. We truly hope that you will join us for a relaxed late afternoon and evening of laughing, sharing, and reminiscing. The RSVP page is enclosed, so please fill it out, make your selections, and send it in with your check. Similar to our 45th Reunion, the committee has decided once again to limit attendance to our classmates, their spouses, significant other, or date.
Anyone wishing to assist the committee in planning and carrying out this event should call Rick or Joe at the phone numbers shown on the next page. We have a great deal of fun planning for this event and would love to see as many classmates get involved as possible.
Lastly, here are the directions to Brandt’s Picnic Grounds:
Cross the Memorial Bridge heading south from downtown. Turn left onto Bailhache Avenue. Go 4/10ths of a mile to Brandt Road. Look for Balloons in our school colors and turn left onto the paved driveway. Proceed to the end of the road to the picnic area. We will have signs and possibly a parking attendant to direct you to the large grassy area just before the picnic area.
