The Alumni Wall of Fame
Fred Mueller, class of 1966

Fred Mueller is an ordinary person and was my best friend before I moved away in 1964. He does not even know he is the person who had the most important affect on my life and he saved me from a path of self-destruction. One day while we were playing in the woods next to his home (which abutted HHHS) I asked him simple question about getting something, I don't remember what. I said "Why don't we just take it?” He gave the simple reply "Because it doesn't belong to us." A switch clicked in my head and I had suddenly learned, and accepted, the difference between right and wrong. Only a friend could have said such a thing so that I would hear the message. With this epiphany, I changed my thieving ways and I am quite sure was saved from a life of self destruction. Even if Fred is not accepted for the HHHS Wall-of-Fame, his is on mine.
