About	With deep sadness and love share this announcement about my father: John Wallis Moffett passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 10, 2023. John was born on July 22, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA attended Bala Cynwyd Elementary & Junior High and graduated from Harriton High School in 1962 where he wrestled, was on the track team and played football received the Highlander Reward for having received varsity awards in multiple sports. He worked as a salesman for Buff-Henley Paper Company and Wisconsin Tissue Mills where he received the salesman of the year award in 1969. Later he started Moffett Paper Company and French Creek Ad -Sp-T’s. His passion was boating taking his kids fishing and exploring the water and his time with Diana on their boat “Lady Diana” in Somers Point, NJ where he enjoyed hanging out with friends. He is preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Diana Long Moffett, parents William Ross & Mary Sayers Moffett, brother William Moffett and Aunt Eleanor Sayers. He is survived by sons, Michael (Marian) Moffett, Mark Moffett, Trent (Colleen) Moffett, stepdaughters, L J Truskey, Christa King, Carole Keim, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 @ 11AM at Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA with Reverend Scott Stub officiating.
