My fellow 1964 Harlandale classmate, Dexter Wayne Tumlinson, died on 12/07/13 in Cuero, TX. He went by the name his middle name of Wayne. His wife, at the time of his death, found a Harlandale Class ring in Wayne's possessions.

Here are the class ring details: It is a male's 1963 Harlandale Class Ring with the initials E.E. engraved inside the finger band.

I have called the school and talked to a Maggie Zuniga (Historical Records at 210 989-4446) and she can NOT find any male with the initials E.E. that graduated in 1963 at either Harlandale or McCollum. McCollum was opened in 1962 and this person may have ordered his Harlandale ring as a junior and then elected to attend McCollum in his senior (1963) year. That is not probable, but it was possible back then as we had the option to attend either school in 1962/1963. It is also possible that Harlandale student E.E. ordered and paid for his ring and then dropped out of school/moved to another town or school and never did return to pick up his ring. Additionally, it could have also been that Wayne and E.E. were room mates after graduation and that is how Wayne came to possess the ring...maybe after E.E. moved out and left his ring/belongings.

One last possibility is that E.E. may have not went by his legal name and E.E. could have been a middle name/nickname that he used much like Wayne used his middle name as stated above.

Feel free to copy and share this information, with anyone that you think may know who E.E. is.

I/we are merely trying to get the ring back to its rightful owner, assuming he is still alive at roughly age 69-70. No one is asking for or seeking any type of reward.

If you recognize the 1963 Harlandale Graduate with the initials E.E., please contact Dennis Uzzell at 214 + 750-8080 and I will give you the contact information for Wayne's wife.

I lost my Harlandale HS 1974 class ring many years ago, back when there was still a "Windsor Park Mall", and Al Gore hadn't yet invented the internet ????. I believe it may have fallen on or around Walzem Rd. It was on a key ring that I think may have gotten left on top of the trunk in that area. I hope someone had found it before it was possibly run over (still, damaged is better than nothing). Please contact Mike Rodriguez at m.rodriguez6@att.net if found. Thanks, Mike
