
Retired from the US Navy-2001, was awarded 4 Navy and Marine Corp achievement medals for service, and was an Aviation Warfare specialist. Was supervisor of 5 equally ranking individuals. Was a aircraft safety systems technician on 4 different Navy aircraft over my 20 year period, P-3 Orion Submarine hunters, A6 Intruder Carrier borne bomber, DC9 Skytrain troop transport and logistic support and FA18 Hornet fighter/bomber. Systems included: Ejection seats, anti-G systems (systems that prevent pilot blackout during high "G" maneuvers), Liquid and gaseous oxygen systems, flight gear, helmets, oxygen masks, Cabin pressurization, wing anti-icing, windshield wash and avionic cooling systems. Was published in ao avoiding hi Naval aviation safety magazine for an article I wrote over and aircraft accident that happened in Alameda, California when one of our aircraft crashed in the San Francisco Bay in lunch hour traffic due hitting the San Mateo bridge
