This will be an exciting All GHS Class Alumni Reunion Cruise. The cruise dates will be broken down into several different dates so that everyone will have a choice that will work for them. You can do this as a class event or an all class event. This can be a 5 day cruise or a 7 day cruise. Everyone should get together with their classmates or other alumni to discuss dates that may benefit everyone. This is something that can be discussed further during the GHS Decade Reunion on July 6-7. More information to come in March 2018. Lets try and get together more often and have fun!

Greetings Class of 1999! In an effort to increase turnout for the reunion, we have lowered the cost per person to $75.00 per person. We hope that this new fee will make it more affordable for everyone to come. Because the fee has been lowered, this means that there will be no barbecue on 7/25 and there will be no t-shirts given out. With the new fee, you still get to hang out with your classmates on Friday, July 24 from 8pm to 12am at the Island View Casino's "V" Bar to take part in the official “Meet & Greet Event.†The final event will take place Saturday night at the IP Casino. This event will take place from 8pm to 12am. There will be a slideshow, food, music, dancing, and each person attending the event will get 2 FREE ALCOHOLIC beverages of their choice. The above fee covers the costs for renting the venue, the food (Cajun Seafood Buffet), both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, bartender fees, and the DJ. It’s important that everyone understand that our class did not have money left over for us to use for our reunion, therefore, we are responsible for covering the costs associated with it. Some people thought the initial $90.00 charge was too much, but everyone must understand that we were very limited on where we could go to have the reunion, we tried to find cheaper places, but they were all booked due to weddings, reunions, etc. We wanted to have something nice for everyone, something memorable. If the new fee doesn’t satisfy everyone, then at this point, we don’t know what else to do. We’ve tried payment options, and now we are lowering the price. So many of you asked for a reunion, so now its up to you to ensure that we can make this happen. The deadline to send in full payment is 6/22. Mail payments to GHS Class of 1999 Reunion, P.O. FRIDAY 8/21/09 ~ Mid-afternoon gathering at the Hotel meeting room. ~ 7 p.m.+, head over to The Dock Bar & Grill SATURDAY 8/22/09 ~ 12 - 3pm - People who are interested can go bowling at Island Strikes. (feel free to advertise other ideas here for others to join you). ~ 7-11pm - Dinner at the Gulfport Yacht Club with a DJ. There will be a photographer on hand for pics. Dance floor. ~ 11pm+, After-party at the Beau Rivage nightclub. They have a band that plays a wide variety of music and a DVDJ that plays up to date dance music. SUNDAY 8/23/09 ~ 11 a.m. – 2 or 3 p.m. – Kid-friendly BBQ (semi-potluck) at West Side Community Park. Has a sprinkler playground and a traditional playground. Bring extra clothes for kids.
