About	Dave Wittry passed away in a tragic accident while training for a triathlon, on February 5, 2008. He was 41. Dave taught a variety of computer science classes at Troy High School, a magnet school for science, math, and technology in Fullerton, California. He was instrumental in developing and teaching the innovative computer science curriculum, which has contributed to Troy's immense success. For several years, the College Board recognized Troy as the leading school in the world for "helping the widest segment of their total population attain college-level mastery of AP Computer Science A and AB." In 2005 Dave moved to Taiwan and taught AP Computer Science and mathematics at the Taipei American School. He was a reader for the AP Computer Science Exams for several years.
