Graduated from Grinnell High School in 1967. Husband took my class ring to Viet Nam and it along with his was stolen. My initials were on it as S R and s blue stone with gold metal ring.

Hello, my name is Kenneth Phipps and although I have not lost a ring, I am actually looking for a picture of a ring. My dad, David Phipps went to one of the high schools in Grinnell (Class of '66, I believe) and immediately went into the Army and to Vietnam. He told me he lost his class ring in a rice paddy in Vietnam and has always regretted it. If there is some way or if you have a picture of a era correct ring, I would greatly appreciate it. I have a picture of him from 1967 wearing it but it is not very clear, it resembles the one with the blue stone, bottom left corner of the 5 rings pictured on this page.
