GC had a rough start to the season but don't let it discourage you. We had a great crowd at Ashland and we need the same at Russell on Saturday. Things are being done right by Coach Copley and his staff and will start to win ballgames in the very near future.

GCHS new weight room

GCHS has decided to take out a large part of the band room for a new weight room. They will do this by taking out the Instrument room, the Drum room, and the sound equipment room, the main entrance into the band room, a trophy case, a set of double doors, and extending the building out to where the band room reaches. We desperately need the storage areas that we are losing in order to make sure our instruments and other equipment is safe. By loosing the main entrance into the band room, any students in that room would have to go out and all the way around the building to get out during an emergency. The band would have to go all the way around the building with all of our equipment, and during the school year this would disrupt other classes.
