Support the New GHS Performing Arts Center

Greenfield High School alumni can show their support for the fine arts at their alma mater with a monetary donation to the Greenfield High School Performing Arts Center. For a tax deductible donation of $150 to $1,000 or more, you, your family, business or organization will be recognized by the Greenfield Education Foundation on a permanent plaque in the lobby of the Performing Arts Center.

The PAC is a showcase of student and community artistic, musical, and theatrical talent. Thousands of supporters of the arts have already experienced the Greenfield High School PAC and tens of thousands more will in the years to come. Your gift can become part of this legacy and will be recognized for generations to come. The larger the donation, the larger the nameplate on the recognition plaque. Round of Applause donations of less than $150 will be noted in other ways.

Donation levels that will be recognized on the plaque are:

Standing Ovation (Gold) - $1,000 or more.
Take a Bow (Silver) - $500 - $999.
Cheers (Bronze) - $150 to $499.

There is no limit to the number of times or amounts you may donate. Your contribution will help ensure that one of the finest performing arts centers in the area will remain so for decades to come. Proceeds will be used to help keep sound and lighting equipment up-to-date; offset equipment maintenance, replacement and procurement costs; and preserve the PAC in good repair for students and community for many years to come.

Dont miss your chance to support the fine arts and the Greenfield Education Foundation, claim a tax deduction, and preserve the name of your family, business or organization in this community centerpiece - the new Greenfield High School Performing Arts Center! Share Your Memories at the Greenfield High School Grand Opening

Help make the Greenfield High School Grand Opening more memorable and share your history while making it. Alumni, retirees, and boosters are invited to share their recollections and mementos at the Greenfield High School Grand Opening Celebration on September 26, 2009. A display is being developed that will showcase artifacts from over a half-century of education at Greenfield High School.

Do you have a letter jacket, concert program, yearbook, set of pom-poms, pictures, school project, or other items that you would be willing to share with the community for use in this display? All items will be exhibited in a secure location and later returned to their owners.

We’re also looking for your fond high school memories in print. If you have an anecdote, story, tale or yarn that you can relate in 500-words or less for exhibit at the Grand Opening, please email it to HYPERLINK "mailto:swilke@admin.greenfield.k12.wi.us" swilke@admin.greenfield.k12.wi.us or mail it to the School District of Greenfield, c/o Stuart Wilke, 8500 W. Chapman Ave., Greenfield, WI 53228.

For additional information about how you and your own Greenfield High School history can be part of the celebration, contact the Community Relations Office at 529-9090, ext. 5817.

The Greenfield High School Grand Opening Celebration will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2009, from 9 AM to approximately 11 AM and will feature tours, refreshments, music, the Air Force Junior ROTC Color Guard and more. The formal dedication will take place at 9 AM and feature the unveiling of a commemorative plaque and brief comments and reflections by students, staff, school district and other officials.

This event is free and the public is highly encouraged to attend.
