I moved to upstate New York in 1976 after nursing school and worked in Critical Care for 10 years. I joined the Administrative Team at the hospital. I married my husband Gary in 1989 and after the birth of our son I returned to college to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. I worked in several areas including Rheumatology and started a Breast Care Center. In 2006 I jointly opened a Family Practice office with a fellow N.P. in which I still own and work. In New York State we are independent and have a very successful and respected practice. Although I no longer have ties to Southern Maryland I will always consider it my home.
