About	George Leonard Denman died in Omaha, Sunday, March 11, 1985 at an Omaha hospital after a short illness. Burial will be in the Alda Cemetery. Mr. Denman was born July 26, 1947 at Grand Island to Lloyd & Hilma (Herman) Denman. He grew up and received his education in Grand Island and was a 1965 graduate of Grand Island Senior HIgh School. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1967. After his discharge in 1971, he returned to Grand Island working as a stocker at Jack & Jill and Safeway stores. On July 11, 1973, he was married to Sandra Smidt of Central City. He later moved to Omaha and had been working as assistant manager at Baker's Supermarket. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Omaha. Survivors include two sons;Brett and Shawn both of Omaha, his mother of Grand Island, a brother Robert of Garden City, Kansas and a sister Peggy Denman of Grand Island.
