About	Danny L. Steele died Sunday August 16, 1992 at a local hospital.Burial will be in WestLawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Steele was born May 24, 1947 at Grand Island to Earl & Delores (Schmidt) Steele. He received his education in Grand Island Public Schools and graduated from Grand Island Senior HIgh School in 1965. He entered the U.S. Army in 1966 and served in VIetnam with the 25th Infantry Battallion. He was discharged in September 1968. He attended Hastings Community College receiving a degree in computer science. He married Gayle Bjorklund, November 8, 1969 In Greeley. He worked at First National Bank, Rinder Printing, Miller-McDermott & Larson-Schroeder before starting at D.L.S. Purchasing Company. He was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, past president of Riverside Golf Club, active in coaching Little League baseball and basketball and was an avid golfer. Survivors include one daughter, Tammie Steele of Lincoln;,one son, Casey Steele of Grand Island; his mother, Mrs. Dee Steele of Grand Island; two sisters, Rosalie Fay of Grand Island and Sandra Mohl of Sioux CIty, Iowa.

I still miss Danny. He was a true friend. I used to race his 56 chevy for him. I still have s scar on my knee from his tachometer.
So sad that he died so young, I still have no idea how or why he died. RIP Danny
