About	Illa Lou Etta "Lou" Engelhaupt died Monday, November 14, 1994 at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetary in Grand Island. Memorials are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation of Nebraska. Mrs. Engelhaupt was born on September 27, 1946 at Colorado Springs, Colorado to Samuel Louis & Ila Iola (Diggs)Martin. She grew up and was educated in Grand Island and graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1965. She married Jerry Lee Englehaupt. The family lived in Grand Island where she was employed by Kandy Korn at the Grand Island Mall as a clerk. She also worked in child care at Mary Moppet's Day Care. She was a past PTA president at Engleman School. Survivors include her fiance, Jim Perkins of Grand Island, a son, Jerry L. Englehaupt II of Grand Island; four brothers, Trentd of Palatine, Ill, Robert Glen Peery of Louisville, Ky, Max Peery , Jr. of Grand Island, Randal L. Martin of Greensboro Ga.;a sister Florence (Perry) Morris of Gothenburg and her father, Samuel Louis Martin of Chillicothe, Michigan.
