Date of Death: June 10, 2008 at home Cremation was provided through Westlawn Memorial Park Crematory with inurnment at the Grand Island City Cemetery. Bruce grew up and attended school in Grand Island, graduating from Grand Island Senior High School in 1965. He entered the U.S. Army spending time at Fort Bliss and served three tours of duty in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1969. Bruce achieved and presererved in his life through hard work and dedication. He loved to build and fly wide-scale, radio-controlled airplanes. He had a love for animals, his yard and all that concerned him. Over the past 15 years, he had been in declining health.
