About	Roger Wagner Anderson, 71, of Grand Island, passed away February 26, 2019. To honor Roger’s wishes cremation took place. Private family celebration of life service will take place at a later date. Roger was born April 20, 1947 at Strindberg, Nebraska, the son of Lawrence and Lillian (Wagner) Anderson. Roger was raised in Grand Island and graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1965. He served in the US Navy from January 5, 1968 and was honorably discharged on March 9, 1971. Following his military service, Roger attended and graduated from Kearney State College. He married Mary Beth Cunningham in 1974. Roger retired from the US Postal Service in Grand Island in 2007. Some of his enjoyments were watching game shows, old westerns and sports. He also lived animals. Survivors include his sister, Peggy (Don) Young of Grand Island and a nephew, Mitchell (Stephanie) Young of Omaha. He is preceded in death by his parents.
