About	Matthew John Wilson, 37, of Northbrook, IL passed away on July 11, 2022. He was the beloved son of Nancy, the late John Wilson (d. 1997), and the stepson of Jack Dietz. Matt leaves behind his siblings, Michael (Anne Marie) Wilson, Melissa (Chris) Tralmer, and his stepsiblings Johnny (Mindy) Dietz and Jennifer (Andrew) Darst. Matt was a cherished uncle to Carter, Wesley, Elise, Reed, Parker, Hailey, Connor, Morgan, and Logan. He was a loving cousin, nephew, and irreplaceable friend to so many. Matt was a talented marksman, athlete, an animal-lover, and the most selfless and gentle soul. He would do anything for his family and friends and the love he had for us will be in our hearts forever. The world lost a bright light; his infectious smile, laugh, and authenticity will be missed by all. His presence was beyond imaginable and his loyalty unmatched. Matt, you will truly be missed, and your loss is unbearable for so many. Rest easy, you will not be forgotten. Until we meet again. We love you. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022, from 1-5 pm at Kelly & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd. Highland Park, IL 60035. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022, 10:00 am at St. Norbert Church, 1809 Walters Ave. Northbrook, IL 60062. Interment Willow Lawn Memorial Park, Vernon Hills, IL.
