Richard Kenneth Osmond- age 74 of Farwell went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 14, 2020. Rick was born on May 27, 1945 to parents Aubrey Julian and Gwendolyn (Centofanti) Osmond in Washington D.C. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School in Maryland. Rick worked for and retired from Detroit Edison after 34 years of service. Rick was married several times and had two children; Keli Su Mills and Kristopher Kenneth Osmond with his second wife and two children; Frances Owens and Alexandria Blain with his third wife; Rev. Sharyn Kay Osmond. After retiring Rick enjoyed singing in his church choir, helping with church functions, attending bible studies and prayer groups, as well as singing with a Barbershop Quartet group. He loved watching television, specifically, old classic movies and television shows. He had an extensive record collection, as he loved singing and music of all types. Rick was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Rev. Sharyn Kay Osmond just 11 months ago; and his parents. He is survived by his children; Frances Owens, Alexandria Blain (Dalton), Kristopher Osmond, and Keli Su Mills, step mother, Thelma Osmond, siblings Thomas (Lori) Osmond, Emily (Jim) Briggs, step siblings; Bryant Centofanti, Murray Centofanti, Rose (Thomas) DePotter, and half-brother Aubrey Jay Osmond, grandchildren Dustin Owens, Lucas, Jack and Caleb Osmond, and great granddaughter Vanessa Owens, and many nieces and nephews. Honoring Rick’s wishes his body has been donated to the University of Michigan Medical School. A Memorial Service will be planned and announced at a later date.
